Employment Resource Group
boosts local, state economy

APPLETON – The Fox Valley’s economy and that of Wisconsin as a whole has been enhanced by the work of Employment Resource Group Inc. (ERG) over the past year.

ERG’s work on executive searches in the Fox Cities in 2005 amounted to $5.5 million in salaries compared to $1.8 million in 2004. On a statewide basis, ERG’s placements totaled $7 million in salaries, up $3.8 million from 2004. In total, ERG placed $9.1 million in salaries compared to $8.9 million in the previous year.

ERG specializes in searches for executive talent in construction, manufacturing, banking, healthcare, insurance and financial services, legal, purchasing/supply chain, pharma/nutriceutical and sales/service industries.

According to Sharon Hulce, president and CEO, “ERG was founded on the premise that we would help local firms with their growth strategies. Through providing companies with their most valuable asset – their people – we work hard to make an impact on the local economy.  We’re proud of this fact and dedicated to continuing our work within Northeastern Wisconsin, specifically, and the State of Wisconsin as well.”

Fiscal year 2005 represented ERG’s third full year in business.  As a result of its success in its early years, the company was presented with the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business “Rising Star” award in 2004, and Hulce was presented with the Athena Award in 2005
