Employment Resource Group
cited for growth potential

Menasha, Wisconsin – Employment Resource Group Inc. (ERG), an executive search firm based in Menasha, has been selected by its parent company, Management Recruiters International (MRI), to participate in a special program designed specifically for offices with the talent, desire and resources to become a Top 10 office.

Only 25 of 1,150 MRI offices in the country were chosen for participation in the “Ascending Group.”  According to Kaye Salikof, MRI vice president, “The Ascending Group offices have been identified as having exceptionally high potential for future growth and development. On the average, they generate volume between $1 million to $3 million in annual revenue. Most importantly, they have exhibited themselves to be in growth mode, combining the talent with the desire and the resources to grow.”

Sharon Hulce, president and CEO of ERG, said she is thrilled with the selection and eager to participate in the added programs and focus that will come with being part of the group. “Our goal is to be a Top 10 office, and this program will help pave the way for that success,” Hulce stated.  Currently, ERG stands at No. 36 among the 1,150 offices.  That alone is remarkable, since the business is less than 2 years old.

“We differentiate ourselves from other recruiters by thinking outside the box,” Hulce continued. “We pride ourselves on doing business in a non-traditional way.  We feel relationship-building is a critical component to success.  And we carry that through to the hiring process.  We offer a cultural survey that matches the company with the client, which will help ensure a good fit.”

ERG specializes in recruiting in the areas of health care, pharmaceutical, construction, manufacturing, insurance and other specialty industries and organizations. The company offers not only recruiting and executive search expertise but has capabilities and services unique to the industry.  Through its Leadership Strategies division, ERG performs cultural assessments and does strategic communications work that will enhance the recruiting experience.

ERG’s attitude toward hiring is considerably different from the industry standard. ERG offers a relationship-based approach to recruiting and placement. It is based on understanding a company’s environment and culture in preparation for seeking the right candidate.

ERG’s corporate philosophy is one of giving back to the Fox Valley community it calls home.  Last year, the shining star in ERG’s pro-bono work included the search for a new executive director of the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center. Last week, ERG closed the books on a search for the executive director of the Fox Valley Symphony with the hiring of Marta Weldon of Richmond, Virginia.  A search for a new Attic Theatre executive director is ongoing.
