Contact: Mary Harp-Jirschele (ERG) Local executive recruiters APPLETON, WI (Feb. 9, 2007) – Tim Eichstaedt, Assistant Vice President-Construction, Employment Resource Group Inc. (ERG), has been named Regional Rookie of the Year by Management Recruiters International (MRI). Executive recruiters from 1,100 international offices who completed their first full year in the business in 2006 were eligible for the award. The announcement was made at a Feb. 8 meeting in Chicago; the official presentation will take place in March in Hawaii. In addition, Mary Wettstein and the ERG Banking & Financial Services Team were honored as the top MRI Team in the Midwest for its efforts to serve the banking and financial services industry in 2005. Team members besides Wettstein include Joshua Henslin and Joe Schraufnagel. Wettstein and Henslin are Neenah residents; Schraufnagel lives in Sherwood. Eichstaedt is an Appleton resident who has been at ERG since May 2004. Sharon Hulce, president and CEO of ERG, attributes Tim’s success to his tenaciousness and consistency. “Tim always has the best interests of our clients and our candidates at heart, and works hard to serve them,” she said. “He is especially skilled at building relationships, and that’s critical in this business.” In accepting the award, Eichstaedt said he has tried to follow Vince Lombardi’s recipe for success: faith, family and team, in that order. “I believe I was put on this earth for a higher purpose; I have a wonderfully supportive family, and the ERG team (members) challenge me and push me,” Eichstead said. ERG offers a relationship-based approach to recruiting, which is distinct in the industry, and the hallmark of the company’s success. In 2006, ERG placed $4.7 million in salaries in the Fox Valley and $9.2 million in the state. ERG specializes in searches for executive talent in construction, banking and financial services, building products, food, healthcare, insurance, manufacturing, professional services (legal, IT, finance) and sales. ERG’s corporate philosophy is one of giving back to the Fox Valley community it calls home. In the past year, the company did pro-bono work for the nine different non-profit organizations in the area totaling more than $200,000 in time and talent. |
